A shut-off to water along Sakwi Creek Road is required for emergency repair to a water main on private property. The interruption in service is expected to last no more than 2 hrs and will take place Friday, August 26th between 7am to 12pm.

Hemlock Valley Utilities wishes to notify all property owners and residents of a planned power outage to conduct maintenance within the electricity infrastructure. The interruptions in service is scheduled for September 6, 2022 between the hours of 7:30am to 4pm. All properties on-mountain and around the resort will be affected by the interruption in service.
During this time, the Utilities team will be working with Platinum Electric to complete vault maintenance.

Please be advised that there will be interruptions in service to Subdivision 4A affecting homes along Laurel Road and SMR Works Yard throughout the week of August 15th to 19th. Interruption in service will last all day on Monday August 15th, from 7am to 3pm, and will be intermittent between the hours of 7am to 3pm Tuesday, August 16 to Friday, August 19th. The interruption is required to upgrade hydrants in the area.

Hemlock Valley Utilities has been notified of a power outage affecting the entire village. The outage originates along Hwy 7 near Harrison Mills. BC Hydro is onsite and working to resolve the issue in a timely manner.

Please be advised that the Hemlock Valley Utilities Team responded to Sakwi Creek Road for an emergency repair to a water main break. The repair required a brief interruption to service however water has since been restored. Residents living on Sakwi may notice a slight discoloration in their water, if so you should run your taps for up to 15 minutes until water begins to run clear again.
Again, the interruption in service affects properties on Sakwi Creek Road only.
