Power was restored around 6:00pm November 16 2021
We just wanted to let everyone know that BC Hydro is on site working on restoring power but there is still no estimated time that they will have this completed. We would like to let you know that the boil water advisory will be in effect for at least the next week. We will be updating this again by November 24 2021 unless we hear back sooner.

Due to the heavy rains we are advising you at this time to boil your water before use.
We recommend boiling water for a minimum of one minute when used for:
• Drinking
• Cooking
• Brushing teeth
• Washing dishes
• Washing fruits and vegetables to be eaten raw

The power outage is out from Mission to Hemlock Valley. This is a BC Hydro issue. We will update our website but you can also check their website for updates. There are no updates on when the power will be restored but they have assigned a team to look into the issue.

There will be poll clearing taking place this Saturday Oct.9/2021 all day on Hemlock Valley Road from the Bridge to the beginning of Edelweiss Dr. so please expect delays.

Interruption in service is unplanned and a direct result of heavy rainfall throughout the week.
Water service will be intermittent throughout the day as crews continue to work in the treatment plant to ensure service is fully restored in a timely manner.

The power outage will affect the entire mountain including village, condos, and Sasquatch Mountain Resort. The planned interruption in service is part of ongoing improvements and upgrades to HVU infrastructure.
