Hemlock Valley Utilities will be conduction a power outage on October 25th to connect three new homes to the system.
The outage will occur between 11am and 3pm and will affect the whole village, except Snowmist Drive and Snowmist Place.
Thank you for your understanding as we welcome these new homeowners to the valley.
There will be a brief power outage on Friday August 9th from 10am to 1pm to safely connect new homes to the electrical system.

Update: Repairs have been made quicker than expected and the outage will now be at 2:50pm.
Hemlock Utilities services will be repairing a transformer within the infrastructure and will result in a short outage. Between 4pm & 7pm on April 19th there will be a short 30 minute outage to complete the repair.
There will be an outage today at 8:45am to investigate and repair a partial outage in the village. Currently there is no Estimated Time to re-establish power.
The current outage is affecting the Harrison Mills area. Starting at 7:35am.

The current outage, starting at 1:48am, was caused by a tree on BC Hydro’s lines. Estimated time on is 12:00pm.
The current power outage has been caused by a pole down in Hemlock Valley from an MVA. Crews are onsite currently replacing the pole doing the repair. The estimated time to re-establish power is 3:00pm

There will be a power outage today, December 24th from 3pm to 4pm for maintenance repairs. Thank you for your understanding while we fix this unforeseen issue.
The current outage starting at 12:46 is originating from B.C. Hydro’s lines supplying the mountain. With widespread outages across the Fraser Valley,from high winds, it could be quite some time before power is restored. Currently there are no hydro crews assigned.
The power will be out for 1-2hours to complete the generator installation.
