There is a planned power outage scheduled for Sept 10, 2020 from 10am – 4pm for new home installations.

Power is out from Morris Valley rd to Hemlock Valley since 8:03am. BC hydro is responding to the tree down and has posted an estimated time of 2:30pm.

The current outage originating at 9:21pm is due to a tree on the lines on hemlock valley road. Bc Hydro has a crew assigned but no ETR currently. No significant damage has occurred so we are expecting a quick repair when BC Hydro’s crew arrives.

Planned Power Outage Dec 5th

Update: The maintenance planned is currently ahead of schedule and power will be restored by 13:00.

Hemlock Utility Services will be conducting a power outage on Thursday December 5 from 9:30am to 4:30pm to perform preventative maintenance. The outage will cover the whole village and updates will be made at approx. 12:00 on hemlockvalleyutilities.com as to the expected time to return power (ETR). For safety reasons please refrain from stopping by the worksite for updates.

There will be a short power outage today, October 28th between 11am and 4pm to address safety concerns found on the last power outage. We will try to restore power as quickly as possible.

Hemlock Valley Utilities will be conduction a power outage on October 25th to connect three new homes to the system.
The outage will occur between 11am and 3pm and will affect the whole village, except Snowmist Drive and Snowmist Place.

There will be a brief power outage on Friday August 9th from 10am to 1pm to safely connect new homes to the electrical system.

Update: Repairs have been made quicker than expected and the outage will now be at 2:50pm.

Hemlock Utilities services will be repairing a transformer within the infrastructure and will result in a short outage. Between 4pm & 7pm on April 19th there will be a short 30 minute outage to complete the repair.

There will be an outage today at 8:45am to investigate and repair a partial outage in the village. Currently there is no Estimated Time to re-establish power.
