May 10th outage
Hemlock Valley Electrical is conducting a system investigation, Power will be intermittent between the hours of 9:30 and 1pm.
May 7th Outage
The current outage at 15:52 is located on BC Hydro’s supply lines and was caused by a fallen tree. Hydro is expected to arrive at 17:10. For further updates and an ETR see: Outage Map – Kent
Planned Outage April 24th
There will be a power outage on April 24th to conduct maintenance to our Electrical system.
The outage will be from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
The purpose of the outage is to improve the reliability of our system for the coming ski season.

Outage at 9:30pm April 20th.

March 4th 2018 Power outage
We are currently investigating the cause of the power failure.
Crews have arrived on scene at 8:50 AM March 5th.

Feb. 18th Outage
The outage is located on BC Hydro’s lines coming up the mountain. Crews are assigned. With multiple outages in the lower mainland it may be some time before power is restored.

January 13-14th Outage
7am – Hydro’s pole replacement crew is expected to arrive at 10am. No estimated time to re-establish power. See: Hydro Outages
10:40pm – Update: A pole is down on the lines coming up the mountain. Hydro’s crews are responding but due to the nature and location of the issue we are expecting the power to be out for quite some time.
