Hemlock Valley and SMR are experiencing a power outage as a result of downed trees on powerlines along Hemlock Valley Road.

Hemlock Utilities is performing an emergency repair to a private residence and an unplanned interruption in service is required. The outage is expected to last 30-45 minutes, and power will be restored no later than 4:45pm.

Hemlock Valley Utilities has been notified of a power outage affecting the entire village. The outage is a result of a downed tree West of Hwy 7 near Harrison Mills. BC Hydro is on-site and working to resolve the issue in a timely manner.

Hemlock Valley Utilities wishes to notify all property owners and residents of a planned power outage to conduct maintenance within the electricity infrastructure. The interruptions in service is scheduled for September 6, 2022 between the hours of 7:30am to 4pm. All properties on-mountain and around the resort will be affected by the interruption in service.
During this time, the Utilities team will be working with Platinum Electric to complete vault maintenance.

Hemlock Valley Utilities wishes to notify all property owners and residents of 2 planned power outages to conduct maintenance within the electricity infrastructure. The interruptions in service are scheduled for July 19th and 26th between the hours of 8am to 5pm. All properties on-mountain and around the resort will be affected by the interruption in service.
During this time, the Utilities team will be working with Platinum Electric on vault cleaning, repairs, and elbow replacement.

There will be a delay in shutting down the power. Once we have located what needs to be fixed we will give you a 1/2 hr heads up before the shut down.
There will be an unplanned emergency power outage to repair a transformer starting at 9am and will last approximately 6hrs on February 11 2022.
