This is to update the community that BC Hydro is getting closer to restoring power to the mountain, although there is still no estimate available for this.
It would appear that there is only one problem area left to repair, although BC Hydro’s site does not specify this. For those keeping up with BC Hydro’s live updates from their Outage map, you would have seen that the crew was temporarily suspended, but a new crew has been assigned and is projected to arrive to the site around 11 am today.
With this in mind, it is our sincere hope that they are able to return power sometime today.

Crews have now arrived and the estimated time on has been projected for 5 pm today.
